Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I occasionally put content out here.

January Thaw

As we sit here in Portland ready for another winter storm to hit (maybe) I've been thinking about the vast changes in scenery and conditions we've had in the last 4 weeks.  Snow, frozen water bottles, sun, mud, slush, ice, and high winds were some of the themes in the past 31 days.  Despite the weather and the city's lack of infrastructure to clean up the roads I still managed a solid month to kick off the year with some help of my friends and a treadmills session or 6.  36 hours of running, 226 miles and 32,000 feet of climb.
