It's fair to say I'm pretty jacked to run the Tahoe Rim Trail 100. I'm about as fit as I've ever been and outside of my ITB complaining a little, I'm right where I need to be for my "A" race of the year. My wife, daughter, and I flew out on Thursday night. After a few delays, we finally checked into our hotel in Sacramento at 2am (Pacific Time). Now we are just enjoying a little family vacation around South Lake Tahoe before the race starts. We've hiked, taken gondola rides, shopped, had a picnic at the beach, and just relaxed up in the mountains. I've ran a few times and explored a bit. It's hard to be out here and not just go crazy running the trails that are all over the place, but I'm sure I'll get plenty of that Saturday-Sunday during the race.
Below are some pics and even a few panoramas that I've taken in the last few day.
